Chewie (Mr. LaChew) is staying with AaTs!

Chewie is a two year old full bred Golden Retriever that was rescued by AaTs last February. Our intent was to train and place Chewie with a family as an Emotional Support Dog.

However, as part of his training we started to take him on therapy visits into the community. It became apparent very quickly that we simply could not pass up his sweet temperament and instinctive ability as a great therapy dog. So, Chewie has found his "forever" home with AaTs and will continue to serve as one of our therapy teams.

He just passed his AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluation last night! We are so proud of his accomplishments and look forward to working with him for many years to come!
